The municipality Wartenberg currently recieves funding from the state of Hesse in order to develop an integrated rural development concept with spatial and thematic focus (SILEK). Together with our partners at PNL we have been assigned to develop a concept, give specialist assistance and moderate the development process.
In close cooperation with the local population chances for the municipality are identified, development goals articulated and projects designed that will improve the municipality. The main focus points of SILEK are "tourism, recreation and culture", "agriculture and agricultural structure" and "landscape and water development". For these focus points an integrated overall concept with a practice-orientated development strategy and convertible projects is being developed.
