10 years after UNESCO recognition, the Biosphere Schwäbische Alb has to submit the "Report for Periodic Review" of UNESCO for the first time.
The IfLS was commissioned by Association of the Biosphere Schwäbische Alb together with Professor Dr. Jedicke (Hochschule Geisenheim) to prepare this report. 

The periodic review presents the developments of the past ten years within the biosphere and addresses the activities of the biosphere's office. These are clarified and supported by, among other things, the current surveys of the Integrated Monitoring Programme co-developed by the IfLS as well as further studies and studies. The periodic review is thus the opportunity to reflect comprehensively on the work of the biosphere's office. The work for the next ten years can be focused accordingly on the basis of the periodic review and the work of the biosphere as a model region for sustainable development can be further developed.
