Innovation Service Provider Saxony-Anhalt

In its rural development programme for Saxony-Anhalt 2014-2020 (EPLR), the state of Saxony-Anhalt is taking up the new funding opportunity of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP AGRI) and implementing it by installing so-called Operational Groups (OG). The aim is to contribute to improving resource efficiency, environmental performance and the sustainability of rural development through the promotion of cooperation partnerships. The Ministry of the Environment, Agriculture and Energy of Saxony-Anhalt (MULE) tenders application rounds and invites stakeholders to submit their respective innovation on a deadline. This funding measure is intended to support cooperation between agriculture, science, consultancy and associations in order to implement innovative projects and thus make contributions to the EPLR's key themes. In addition to the activities of the OG, funding will also be provided for the implementation of the innovation project. The OG must consist of at least two members, at least one of whom can be assigned to primary production.

As an innovation service provider, the IfLS is entrusted with the following tasks:

It assists interested actors in the development of ideas in an advisory capacity. In addition, potential applicant groups are supported and accompanied in the procedure; however, the IfLS is also available to already active OG. Here, the information level of the OG is to be improved in order to enhance project implementation and finally the results. Further support is provided for public relations work and the dissemination of results.

In addition, the IfLS has been commissioned to support the MULE in the implementation of the funding programme in terms of content and administration.
