Since January 1, 2023, the federal government and the states have been implementing the CAP Strategic Plan for the Federal Republic of Germany. For the first time, there is a joint strategic plan for the implementation of the first and second pillars of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in Germany. Baden-Württemberg’s funding programs are integrated into the nationwide strategic plan for Germany.
In addition to the national evaluation of the CAP Strategic Plan, the state of Baden-Württemberg has commissioned the IfLS to conduct region-specific monitoring and evaluation of selected Baden-Württemberg interventions. The aim of the studies is to make any necessary adjustments during the current funding period and to draw conclusions for a needs-based design of EU-funded regional support programs and measures in the next funding period.
Specifically, ad hoc studies will be conducted on the following selected interventions in Baden-Württemberg:
- Improving Animal Welfare under FAKT II
- Preserving Small Farms and the Added Value of a Mentor
- Long-Term Effects of Investment Support for Diversification
- EIP – Transferring Results into Practice and the Impact of Simplified Cost Options
- Increasing Acceptance of Forest Conservation Funding
- Use and Impact of Social Media Funding in Nature Parks
- Impact of the LEADER approach on regional structures
- Beekeeping support – acceptance and opportunities for improving support measures
