Circular Economy in Agriculture – The ReVaCy Newsletter #1 is here!

The first newsletter of the Erasmus+ ReVaCy project has been published. Entitled ‘Circular Economy and Regional Value Cycles in Agriculture’, it provides an insight into the project’s key themes and highlights the significance that the circular economy can have for agriculture and regional value creation.
The focus is on fundamental approaches to the circular economy and their application in agriculture. Using various strategies, it demonstrates how resources can be used more efficiently, agricultural by-products reused and regional cycles strengthened. A practical example from Germany also shows how organic farming, renewable energy, nutrient cycles, partnerships and direct marketing are interlinked, thereby illustrating how circular approaches can be implemented on farms.
