The IfLS team played a leading role on 17 June 2026 at the final Monitoring Committee meeting concluding the 2014–2022 funding period of the EULLE Development Programme in Rhineland-Palatinate. At the same time, the meeting was also the first external appointment of the new State Secretary, Michael Mätzig, at the Ministry of Agriculture, Viticulture, Environment and Forestry in Rhineland-Palatinate.
During the meeting, we presented key findings from our many years of monitoring and evaluating the Development Programme. We outlined how effectively key measures had been implemented and what impacts had been achieved. We also provided recommendations for the further development of support for rural development in Rhineland-Palatinate.
With the end of the funding period, an intensive monitoring and evaluation process for the EULLE Development Programme is also coming to a close. The final evaluation report will be submitted by the end of the year.
We would like to express our sincere thanks for the constructive exchange, the good cooperation and the trust placed in us over the past years. We are therefore all the more pleased to be continuing the monitoring and evaluation work under the national CAP Strategic Plan and to contribute jointly to the evidence-based further development of funding support.
