From February 7th to 9th, 2023 about 35 representatives and experts for insect protection measures in protected areas met.
IfLS Consulting and Projects organised a two-part series of conferences on behalf of the German Federal Agency for nature Conversation (Bund für Naturschutz, BfN). After the first meeting in May 2022 took place in the very north of Germany on Vilm, the Odenwald was chosen as the next location.
Around 35 representatives of the protected areas and experts came together for three days. Numerous presentations in the fields of basic strategies, forestry, water, education or light ensured an exchange of knowledge.
Exchanges and joint work phases ensured networking among those present.
The time spent together was rounded off with walks, dinners or at the evening farewell.
The presentations will be published in a BfN script.
