Skills for Smart Villages – The RURALED Newsletter #1 is here!

The first newsletter of the Erasmus+ RURALED project is now available online. It introduces the concept of smart villages and presents some initial practical examples. It also provides an overview of the RURALED toolbox.
The newsletter also highlights how skills in the areas of sustainability, digitalisation and community development can be applied to the Smart Village context. Particular emphasis is placed on five key areas of expertise, including communication and stakeholder management, strengthening local communities, and future-oriented skills for shaping structural change.
The results form an important building block for the next stages of the project, in which learning materials and practical tools for local communities will be developed.
