Official approval of the nature park concept Rhine-Taunus Nature Park

On June 22, 2018, the official adoption of the nature park concept Rhine-Taunus Nature Park took place in Wiesbaden as the prelude to the 50th anniversary celebration of the nature park.

Within the last 1,5 years, the IfLS has on behalf of and in close cooperation with the Nature Park Rhine-Taunus compiled development goals and strategies for the Nature Park in working groups related to fields of action with central regional actors. The results were used to develop a concept to protect the natural and cultural landscape, strengthen recreation and sustainable tourism, promote education for sustainable development and promote the sustainable regional development of the nature park.

The nature park concept for Rhine-Taunus nature park was decided by the special association meeting and is now being implemented.
