LEAN project completed - All German training modules and case studies online

The LEAN project ('Learning on Entrepreneurship & Agriculture for New farmers') was officially concluded with a final digital meeting on 23.11.20. Together with project partners from Poland (ARID), Lithuania (BETI), Italy (University of Bari) and France (VertigoLab & VetAgroSup), an online platform was set up over a period of two years to help newcomers to agriculture develop their business according to the principles of organic farming.

A total of ten web-based training modules in six languages were created. These include learning content on the basic principles of sustainable agriculture, different farm sectors (animal husbandry, fruit and vegetable growing, beekeeping, etc.) as well as communication and marketing. They are intended to provide newcomers with the basics for starting their own business. In addition, 15 case studies provide practical examples from newcomers to agriculture in the five partner countries.

The online platform can be found at http://leanproject.eu/.
