Taking Stock Together: Focus Group Discussions for the Final Evaluation of PLENUM Tübingen

What impact has PLENUM had in the Tübingen district? And how does PLENUM continue to have an impact beyond the funding period? The IfLS is currently investigating these questions on behalf of the State of Baden-Württemberg as part of the final evaluation of PLENUM.

In addition to analyzing figures and project data, the experiences and assessments of local stakeholders are a key component of the evaluation. In early May, Lukas Welk (IfLS) and Prof. Dr. Jedicke therefore conducted several focus group discussions with stakeholders from the fields of agriculture and forestry, tourism, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), nature conservation, and marketing.

Together with representatives from participating associations and institutions, project organizers, and other subject matter experts, they discussed the successes, challenges, and areas for improvement of the PLENUM program. The findings from these discussions complement the quantitative analysis and will be incorporated into the program’s final evaluation.
