On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Home Affairs (BMLEH), the IfLS is evaluating the national Strategy Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) for the Federal Republic of Germany (CAP-SP).
The first milestone has now been reached:
The detailed plans for the evaluations of the individual specific objectives (SO) of the CAP-SP have been finalised and published on the BMLEH website.
Our focus is, on the one hand, on income support (SO 1), promoting competitiveness (SO 2), strengthening farms (SO 3) and supporting business start-ups/young farmers (SO 7); and, on the other hand, on rural development (SO 8) and the LEADER added value, as well as the cross-cutting objective (QZ; Knowledge, Innovation, Digitalisation). The cross-cutting objective also includes references to the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (AKIS).
In a total of three consortia, two of which are coordinated by the IfLS, we are collaborating with long-standing and new partners such as the Johann Heinrich von Thünen Institute, the University of Hohenheim, WIFO, USV-Agrar, the Research Group for Agricultural and Regional Development Triesdorf GbR (ART), Gerald Wagner, b&s and ABT.
The IfLS looks forward to making a significant contribution to this important project over the coming years and to playing an active role in shaping the future of German agriculture and rural areas.
