The first joint project meeting with the new project partners Regionalwert AG Freiburg and Regionalwert Impuls GmbH as well as Regionalwert AG Rheinland and the Centre for Organic Agriculture took place at the beginning of July. The two-day meeting started with a prelude in the regional organic restaurant 'Adelhaus' in Freiburg's city centre and was continued the next day in the office of Regionalwert AG Freiburg.
After a long phase of online communication due to Corona, the first exchange could take place in presence. Common project goals and strategies for public relations were worked out, and current work steps and further project development were discussed.
In terms of content, the criteria and indicators developed so far in the regiosöl project were discussed in depth, as well as the key figures of the regional value sustainability analysis and performance calculation and, in particular, the interplay of the partly overlapping and partly complementary aspects. In addition, the procedure for acquiring the 50 farms in each of the two pilot regions, North Hesse and Rhineland, which are to test the tools in the coming months, was discussed.
All in all, the meeting created a fruitful basis for future cooperation - the partners were able to coordinate well with each other personally, in terms of content and concept.
The next project meeting has already been arranged: In September, in Frankfurt, it will be about the survey of social services on a regional level.
