On 23 and 24 April 2026, the LEADER Steering Committee for the 2014–2022 funding period of the Rhineland-Palatinate Rural Development Programme – EULLE – held its final meeting.
In accordance with the n+3 rule, funding for the supported projects ended by 31 December 2025 at the latest. Accordingly, the Local Action Groups presented their final evaluations and took stock of their work.
The IfLS is building on these results and incorporating them into the ex-post evaluation currently being prepared.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to bid farewell to the outgoing State Secretary Andy Becht after 10 years in office. On the second day of the meeting, we had the opportunity to visit and learn more about funded projects in the host LEADER region From the Rhine to Wine.
The IfLS supported the region in drawing up its Local Integrated Rural Development Strategy (LILE). We join the region in celebrating the successes it has achieved so far!
