The Bergstrasse-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park published the first building blocks of the new digital ESD platform at the end of December 2022.
Education for sustainable development (ESD) already plays a major role in the Geo-Nature Park. In order to further strengthen this area, the Institute for Rural Structural Research e.V. supported the large protected area in the creation of an ESD concept as early as 2021. This concept defined the establishment of an ESD academy as the lead project.
In a first step, an ESD platform has now been developed with IfLS Beratung und Projekte GmbH, which is to be further developed into an ESD academy in the long term.
