Educational opportunities for newcomers to agriculture


As part of the ERASMUS+ funded project  "LEAN - Learning on Entrepreneurship and Agriculture for New farmers" the IfLS, together with Vertigo Lab in France and four other European partners, Poland (ARID), Lithuania (BETI), Italy (University Bari), France (VetAgroSup), will develop:

  • an online training programme on open educational resources for knowledge and entrepreneurial skills in organic and sustainable agriculture and
  • quality learning opportunities for new European farmers (newcomers) to operate and develop their farms in accordance with the principles of organic and sustainable farming.

A total of 10 web-based training modules and 15 practical examples will be developed by newcomers to agriculture in the 5 partner countries.

The project officially started with the kick-off meeting on 19 and 20 November in Bordeaux.
