To promote grazing adapted to nature conservation objectives, conservation agreements are the central measure in the "Measures and Development Plan for Rural Areas in Baden-Württemberg 2014 - 2020" (MEPL III).
Using funding data, the IflS has analysed the regional priorities for promoting grazing through contractual nature conservation and which farm types and animal species are particularly relevant. These data evaluations represent a step in the assessment of this measure within the framework of the evaluation of MEPL III.
