Launch of ReVaCy - Circular Economy in Agriculture

The consortium held its first virtual online meeting on December 18, 2024, to kick off the ERASMUS+ project ReVaCy.
The ReVaCy project stands for Regional Value Cycles for Farmers and aims to strengthen the principles of the circular economy in agricultural operations and regional value chains. This is intended to contribute to greater sustainability and open up new business opportunities, particularly for small and medium-sized agricultural operations and companies in the food sector. To this end, information and learning materials for vocational education and training will be developed that provide both an introduction to the circular economy in agriculture and the skills necessary to implement circular economic practices. The materials will also include best-practice examples and offer ideas for learning opportunities at field days.
The ERASMUS+ funded project is being implemented in collaboration with four European partners: Hof und Leben (Germany), CeSAR (Italy), Unión De Agricultores Y Ganaderos-Jóvenes Agricultores De Jaén (Spain), and Biotehniski center Naklo (Slovenia). They bring their expertise in agriculture, adult education, and regional development to the project.
