AMuRaKK: Kickoff Workshop at FreiRaumStation in Homberg

Recently, the kick-off with the practice partners of the AMuRaKK project took place in Homberg in the former shoe shop KOCHs - today a creative place to work and meet. All initiatives and the research team met in Homberg (Efze) on 15 and 16 June for a kick-off workshop. The proud hosts were the Future Optimists, who initiated the FreiRaumStation in Homberg (Efze) and currently run it in Borken (Hesse).

In addition to getting to know and exchanging ideas with the other initiatives - the Generationenbahnhof Erlau, the Kulturbahnhof Itzehoe and the Wasserschloss Reelkirchen - the programme of the workshop included coordinating the respective expectations and questions. After a cultural-historical guided tour of the Reformation Church of St. Mary and a subsequent tour of the tower on Thursday, the research and practice partners began their professional exchange on Friday.

As a result, the research partners were able to gain important impulses for further work at the kick-off. The supporting role of (municipal) administrations in initiating and permanently using multifunctional spaces became particularly clear. As a result, the municipal partners are to be more closely integrated into the joint working structure.

The AMuRaKK project is funded by the BULEplus programme of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL).
