Rethinking the links between farm modernisation, rural development and resilience in a world of increasing demands and finite resources
The RETHINK final conference was hosted on 2 December 2015 in Brussels. The transdisciplinary research project (more information) is supported by the European Commission and funding bodies in 14 countries under the umbrella of FP7 and the RURAGRI ERA-NET. It illuminates how market forces, societal demands and resource constraints influence the development of agriculture and rural areas across Europe, and how the adaptability and resilience of rural areas can be strengthened.
The leaflets and posters on the case studies conducted in 14 countries as well as the conference presentations are available here.
