Self-evaluation of regional development processes

The IfLS supports regions in the self-evaluation of their development processes. Through self-evaluation, central actors involved in the implementation of integrated development strategies are enabled to independently and jointly identify success and failure in various fields of regional development, and thus to promptly make amendments if necessary.

To this end, the IfLS offers the implementation of corresponding evaluation measures such as the organization and moderation of half-day self-evaluation workshops for local action groups, regional managements etc., as well as an accompanying survey among regional stakeholders. As the end of the current LEADER support period is approaching, the regions concerned have the opportunity to sum up and draw conclusions from the activities implemented so far, and to accordingly prepare for the new demands of the next support period starting in 2014.

At present, the IfLS accompanies the GießenerLand und SPESSARTregional LEADER regions as well as the BioEnergieDialog Rhein-Erft bio-energy region in their self-evaluation processes.
