The project is run together with TAURUS ECO Consulting GmbH and Prognos AG. In this consortium, the IfLS is responsible for EAFRD-specific analyses. The tasks of the IfLS are especially the analysis of the socio-economic situation of rural areas and of environmental situation and trends in Rhineland-Palatinate. Drawing on this, the status quo, with its strengths and weaknesses as well as the opportunities and threats of future developments, are estimated (SWOT-analysis). The SWOT-analysis serves as a basis for the development of the rural development plan of Rhineland-Palatinate 2014-2020.
