Sustainability communication - central topic at the networking event in the GNK Pfalz project

On 24.11.2022, IfLS Consulting and Projects and the Institute for Rural Development Research (IfLS)  moderated a networking event in the Global Sustainable Municipality (GNK) Palatinate project.

In the project, 11 municipalities are accompanied in the implementation or re-development of their municipal sustainability strategies. The aim of the network events is to get the actors of the municipalities, experts and interested parties from the region and outside around a (virtual) table on specific topics and to focus on certain topics together.

The communication of sustainable activities and goals is seen as crucial for the acceptance and success of municipal sustainable development.

For this reason, sustainability communication was set as the central theme of the networking event. The project municipalities reported on their own activities and invited expert speakers provided impulses for good success.

Two further networking events will be held in 2023.
