Successful cooperation at the regiosöl project meeting in Frankfurt

The Institute for Institute for Rural Development Research (IfLS) once again invited participants to the regiosöl project meeting in Frankfurt on 8th and 9th September 2021.

The regiosöl project, which is funded by the BÖLN, has set itself the task of recording, evaluating and visualising the social-ecological and societal services of organic farming in a differentiated manner. This approach creates the prerequisite for an appropriate remuneration of sustainable management in agriculture.

During the intensive one-and-a-half-day project meeting, the regiosöl team worked on the specific elaboration of regional performance factors, which in particular illustrate social commitment, which in turn has a positive impact on the region. In addition, the focus was on topics such as business acquisition, concepts for data processing and event planning. Currently, organic farms from Northern Hesse and the Rhineland are still being sought to complete the regional value sustainability analysis, the regional value performance calculation and the regiosöl key figures as part of the regiosöl project and thus participate in the project. Participation is free of charge for the farm. So far, the acquisition has shown positive results.

After a delicious meal our conclusion can be described best as follows: Ideas for a greener future of agriculture can be discussed especially well over regional dishes with Frankfurt Green Sauce.
