Online Workshop "New or lateral entry into agriculture": Registration until 05.10.20

On 07.10.2020 from 14:00-16:00 the Institute for Rural Development Research (IfLS) offers an introduction to the new, freely accessible training program for newcomers and career changers in ecological and sustainable agriculture. It is the result of the international LEAN-project ('Learning on Entrepreneurship & Agriculture for New farmers') funded by ERASMUS+, which supports newcomers in agriculture in developing their farm according to the principles of organic farming.

The training program offers interactive moodle learning modules on topics such as the principles of sustainable and organic farming, animal production, fruit growing, but also business models, marketing and communication. Examples from Germany, Poland, Italy, France and Lithuania also show how farmers have practically entered organic farming, what challenges they have faced and what tips they have for new and career changers.

Registration for the workshop is now open (until 05.10.20) under the following link: https://anmeldungleanworkshop.questionpro.eu

All interested parties, new and career changers in agriculture as well as institutions that support new or career changers are cordially invited. The workshop will be held in German.
