Innovation and collaboration - and what happens next?

The EU funding period 2014-2020 is coming to an end - despite the upcoming transition years - and more and more EIP-Agri and cooperation projects are concluding their projects. But the question 'What happens after the funding of innovation and cooperation?' is not only asked by the Operational Groups (OGs) and cooperations that are about to be completed. New groups are also thinking about possibilities for follow-up and new project ideas.

In the context of the online networking workshop 'Innovation and Cooperation in Hessen' on December 03, 2020, different perspectives for possible follow-up activities were therefore highlighted and discussed. The online event could be used to enrich the workshop with the knowledge of a number of external speakers. Representatives of the HMUKLV, the LLH and the BLE, among others, gave the participants an understanding of various funding programs at the state, federal and EU levels, including experiences from EU funding programs such as HORIZON 2020. Previously completed EIP-Agri projects also reported on their projects.

Subsequently, the participants considered which possibilities and perspectives could result from this for an EIP-Agri or cooperation project. In addition, different breakout sessions provided for a lively exchange between the Hessian OGs and cooperations as well as other EIP-Agri interested parties.

As the Hessian innovation service provider, the IfLS organizes an annual networking workshop for all Hessian OGs with different thematic/methodological focuses. It also advises, networks and supports the OGs and cooperations in Hessen in the implementation and planning of their projects.
