Identifying common goals and objectives – the collaboration of the large-scale protected areas of Baden-Württemberg

Contributing together to the protection of species and biotopes, developing educational programmes, coordinating research activities and sustainably developing their regions: These are the common goals which the large protected areas of Baden-Württemberg have identified at a workshop on May 21st and 22nd in Tübingen-Bebenhausen. In addition, joint operational goals and measures have been developed to achieve these goals by 2030.

IfLS was commissioned by the Landesanstalt für Umwelt Baden-Württemberg to develop a concept for the large-scale protected areas and also conducted the workshop. The aim of the project is to create a conceptual basis for the collaboration and exchange of experiences between the large protected areas of Baden-Württemberg. The concept will show development paths for the next decade until 2030.
