Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Baden-Württemberg announce the new LEADER action groups for the funding period 2023 - 2027


In the course of November, the three federal states of Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse announced the LEADER action groups selected for the upcoming funding period and thus also officially recognized the seven LEADER regions accompanied by the IfLS.

In the course of 2022 and 23, the IfLS Beratung und Projekte and the Institut für Ländliche Strukturforschung e.V. accompanied a total of 7 regions from three federal states in the preparation of their regional LEADER strategies.

During November, all regions have now been officially recognized:

On 07.11.2022 Baden-Württemberg gave the starting signal when Minister Hauk announced in Stuttgart that all 20 LEADER applicant regions will be included in the funding. Among them are also the two regions Hohenlohe-Tauber and Limesregion Hohenlohe-Heilbronn, which are supervised by the IfLS.

The announcement of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate followed only three days later when State Secretary Becht presented the certificates to the 21 LEADER regions at Hambach Castle. In Rhineland-Palatinate, the IfLS accompanied the regions Southern Palatinate, From Rhine to Wine, Erbeskopf and Rhine-Haardt in the preparation of the strategies.

In Hesse, Environment Minister Priska Hinz handed over the certificates of recognition to the 24 Hessian LEADER regions on 10.11.2022 in Eltville. Among them also for the LEADER region Lahn-Dill-Wetzlar, which was created by the IfLS.
