New Project and New Assignment for Municipal Reporting in Hesse

IFLS Beratung und Projekte GmbH has launched a project to support municipalities on their journey towards sustainability reporting. This project, initiated by the Service Agency Communities in One World (SKEW) of Engagement Global and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), aims to assist municipalities in creating their sustainability reports.
The project involves supporting eight municipalities, including large cities like the state capital Wiesbaden and smaller communities. The goal is to capture and promote municipal sustainability activities in the sense of global responsibility. Throughout the year, two intensive workshops will be conducted, providing municipalities with the necessary knowledge and tools to carry out their reporting.
The first networking meeting in Neustadt (Hesse) marked an important milestone. 30 engaged participants from various municipalities came together to exchange ideas on the process of sustainability reporting and strategy development. This included both municipalities just starting out and those that have already successfully developed a strategy.
