On December 11, 2024, the networking event “Sharing Innovations – Multiplying Knowledge” took place in Mainz. IfLS Beratung und Projekte GmbH organized the workshop in collaboration with the states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse to connect EIP-Agri stakeholders from both states, build capacity for innovation management, and explore new approaches to project communication. The approximately 50 participants engaged in intensive collaboration across two workshop phases.
1st Workshop: “Innovation Management – From Idea to Project”
Participants were introduced to the “Innovation Spiral” as a method for project development. Christoph Mathias from IfLS presented the modular components from the InnoCSA project. Building on this, the participants then developed practical approaches for structuring and implementing innovative ideas in the fields of arable farming, vegetable growing, livestock farming, fruit growing, viticulture, and volunteer work
2nd Workshop: “Do Good and Talk About It”
In his presentation, Peter Berndgen from agro-kontakt introduced the fundamentals of public relations as a success factor for EIP projects; an “idea buffet” offered creative approaches for successfully communicating project results.
The event culminated in an open discussion, which participants actively used to make new contacts and exchange ideas. In 2025, Hesse will host the joint networking event.
