Biodiversity conservation in agriculture? Success factors for result-oriented measures

On 28.11.2022, the projects ECO²SCAPE and AgriScape [link in German], both funded within the framework of the BMBF Research Initiative for the Conservation of Biodiversity (FEdA), invited to the synthesis workshop "Success factors for the implementation of result-oriented measures to promote biodiversity and ecosystem services in agriculture".

The redesigned CAP 2023 is just around the corner and once again comes with result-oriented measures. After important keynote speeches on the CAP 2023 and the inviting projects, discussions focused on the opportunities and key points of result-oriented measures. The GOBIOM project team, represented by the IfLS and grünweg [link in German], contributed important and practical insights. As such, funding, transferability, design and monitoring as well as advisory services and communication continue to be central aspects of these outcome-based measures.

The FEdA and the funding measure "BiodiWert" currently support 17 projects to promote the importance of biodiversity at the corporate and societal level. As some of the staff working on these projects took part in the workshop, coffee breaks could be used for important networking and identification of synergies and potential parallels. Next joint events are already in the planning and the GOBIOM project team would like to continue to contribute.
