Abstracts of the agri-environmental and nature conservation programmes in the federal states published

The promotion of agri-environmental and climate measures is an essential part of the European Union's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Every seven years the framework of the CAP is revised, most recently in 2013 for the period 2014 to 2020. This also necessitates an update of the series of "Summaries of agri-environmental and nature conservation programmes" published by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN), which was started for the first time for the funding period 2000 - 2007.

This update was part of the project "Biodiversity Promotion in the EAFRD", which the IfLS is currently carrying out together with entera and the 12-star office. With the aim of creating a clear reference book, the political and legal framework conditions as well as various types of measures were briefly covered. In the main part of the document, measures of particular importance for nature conservation are presented in tabular form for each federal state. Among other things, the content of the measures, possible beneficiaries as well as bonuses and subsidy rates are discussed.

The current and revised version of the abstracts has now been published in the BfN script series and can be viewed, downloaded and ordered on the BfN website.
